| When using the Scan Controller, the setup works fine and the stepper motor runs manually, and it locates the scanner and button in the process, however when the program runs and the epson scan attempts to scan via the command from the TWAIN program, the error comes up from Epson Scan saying "Cannot communicate with scanner. Make sure the scanner is on, correctly setup and connected with no errors in the scanner. If using an SCSI connection, restart your computer." ive followed the details on your blog and am using Windows 7 64 bit, any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Currently only the "alternative" mouse click emulation works in a 64 Bit opreating system environment.
As far as I know, Simon is still looking for a solution.
